Moorestown and Her Neighbors

Moorestown and Her Neighbors is one of the best and one of the last of a class of town histories written in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Not only does it cover Moorestown, but but makes excursions into Westfield, Mount Laurel, Maple Shade and Cherry Hill. The book is also interesting as a snapshot of “old” West Jersey just before the tides of economic depression, war and suburban development swept over it.
